Rideau Community Health Services (RCHS) is a non-profit, fully accredited organization that offers primary health care and social services throughout Lanark, Leeds & Grenville. 

RCHS invites applications for the following position:

Position:               Student Medical Receptionist - Smiths Falls

Hours:                   35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Term:                     12 weeks

Start Date:             June 3 - August 30, 2024

Closing Date:         May 17, 2024

Rate:                      $19.419 per hour

Location:                Smiths Falls Site, 2 Gould St. Smiths Falls, ON

                                Some travel to Perth Site 40 Sunset Blvd, Perth, ON

Proof of Covid Vaccination (2 doses) as well as valid driver’s license required.                     

COMMON RESPONSIBILITIES: The Medical Receptionist provides reception, clerical and administrative support functions and operates and maintains appointment, chart and document management systems.  Assist with other administrative duties as required. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Training in computer software applications and/or secretarial skills.  Experience with switchboard/multi-line telephone system.  Proficiency in typing and in the use of computers and various software applications.  Post-secondary student or graduate in a related field.
