Salaried Physician Opportunities

RCHS has exciting opportunities for family physicians to join our growing team of dynamic healthcare professionals. We welcome physicians with a special interest in palliative care, chronic pain management, mental health, LGBTQ+ and women’s health. At RCHS, we’ve created a practice model for you to thrive professionally and personally. As a physician on staff with RCHS, you will manage a roster of primary care clients and will benefit from the support of allied health professionals including social workers, pharmacists, diabetes educators, community support workers and dietitians, as well as experienced admin and secretarial support which will allow you to focus on excellent client care.  You will be joining a group of primary care providers that include physicians and nurse practitioners.

As an RCHS staff member, you will receive a competitive compensation package (physician salary is $291,225 annually) including a comprehensive benefits program, HOOPP pension plan, extended health care benefits, long & short-term disability, and travel and life insurance (premium paid in full by RCHS). You will receive paid vacation time, 5 days of personal leave per year, 12 days of paid sick leave, statutory holiday pay, and support for professional development.

RCHS is a non-profit, community-governed community health centre that provides comprehensive primary care, health promotion and community development services. RCHS works with partners to provide integrated health and wellness services for various communities throughout Leeds, Grenville and Lanark counties. A wide range of health promotion and disease prevention programs are available to our communities such as: diabetes education, telemedicine, chiropody/foot care, dietetic consultation, oral health care, lung health, smoking cessation, mental health and wellbeing and exercise programs.
