Rideau Community Health Services (RCHS) is a progressive, dynamic, and client-centered not-for-profit community-governed organization. The focus of RCHS is to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities by the provision of primary care services, health promotion, and community services across the communities we serve.
The Board of Rideau Community Health Services is recruiting, and we welcome applicants from across the diversity of the counties of Lanark, Leeds & Grenville. Knowledge or lived experience in the following areas are considered assets in our recruitment efforts:
- Health & Quality of Care
- Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Anti-Racism, Anti-Oppression, and Advocacy
- Social Services
Board directors must be 18 years of age or older, live, work, and/or volunteer in Lanark, Leeds & Grenville counties, committed in sharing the organizational expectations for respectful and inclusive interactions, and have sufficient time and energy to prepare for and attend board and committee meetings. This is a volunteer position, and you can expect to spend between 4-6 hours a month preparing for and attending board and committee meetings.

All applicants will receive a response, but not all applicants will be interviewed. Recommendations of the Governance & Nominating Committee must be approved by the Board of Directors before successful candidates may be notified.
