About High Risk Chiropody

This program provides chiropody care to clients with foot ulcers or those who are at high risk of developing foot ulcers. The chiropodist will work with doctors, nurse practitioners, community nursing services and specialists as needed.

A referral from a primary care provider is required to access the chiropodist.

About Foot Care

Foot care services are available to clients who have limited income and are unable to care for their own feet. Services include nail and callus care and tips on how to care for your own feet.

How to Get Services

You can self-refer for foot care services by calling 613-284-2558.

Please note: In order to be eligible for the foot care program, you must:

  • Be unable to afford foot care with another program ($30 - $45 per appointment); and
  • Not have extended health insurance (foot care or chiropody) to cover foot care expenses. (Note: Please check with your policy to see if you have coverage.)

You will be asked to sign a Foot Care Eligibility Form before receiving services.
