Food Cupboard Program
Rideau Community Health Services' Food Cupboard Program (Merrickville Site) provides non-perishable food and household items and emergency food bags to residents in our community who are experiencing food insecurity.
How to Get Services
The Food Cupboard Program is open every Tuesday from 10:00am-2:00pm, and the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month from 5:00pm-7:00pm.

Good Food Box
The Good Food Box Program is open to the entire community this is not a targeted program. Community members in the program can place orders for small or large fruit and vegetable boxes at a cost of $12.00 for a small order, and $20.00 for a large order.
How to order?
- Merrickville community members:
- Contact Joanne Franey, Community Health Worker at (613) 269-3400 ext 247.
- Orders are due the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
- Orders can be picked up between 10am-2pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
- Smiths Falls community members:
- The Good Food Box Program in Smiths Falls is coordinated through the Lion’s Club.
- To access the program or for more information, please contact Deb Doe at 613-285-6561.
- Note: Smiths Falls community members can only place orders for large ($20.00).
