Rideau Community Health Services (RCHS) is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Many people experience health effects when exposed to scented products. For some individuals, exposure can cause serious symptoms, including headaches, dizziness, nausea, skin irritation, breathing difficulties, and other reactions.
To help protect the health and well-being of our clients, staff, volunteers, students, and visitors, RCHS maintains a scent-free environment.
Please Avoid Wearing Scented Products
Before visiting an RCHS location, please avoid using scented products such as:
- Perfume or cologne
- Body sprays and aftershave
- Scented lotions and creams
- Hair products with strong fragrances
- Scented laundry products or fabric softeners
- Other strongly scented personal care products
If You Arrive Wearing Scented Products
If a strong scent is detected, staff may remind you of our scent-free policy and ask that future visits be scent-free.
In situations where a fragrance may pose a health risk to others, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment or return at another time.
Thank You
Your cooperation helps us create a safer and more accessible environment for everyone who receives services, works, volunteers, or visits RCHS.
