Charmaine Crockett has strong ties to North Grenville (Kemptville) and Rideau Lakes (Portland), with a record of volunteerism in both communities. Charmaine currently works with the Canadian Partnership for Women and Children’s Health (CanWaCH), where she focuses on strategic initiatives, partnerships and engagement across the Canadian and global health ecosystems. She also recently served as Interim CEO, leading CanWaCH through a period of transition that included governance, budgeting, audit, risk management and funder renewal work.
Charmaine has worked in a range of leadership, policy and engagement roles in the public and nonprofit sectors, including at Global Affairs Canada, Payments Canada and on Parliament Hill. Her background includes public policy, communications, relationship-building and consultation across the nonprofit and public sectors. She has also contributed locally through municipal advisory committees and community/event committees, and values opportunities to support strong, connected rural areas.
