RCHS Diabetes Team Wearing Blue in support of Diabetes Awareness Month

November is Diabetes Awareness Month!

Did you know that 1 in 3 Canadians has diabetes? Let's stand together in the battle against diabetes by proudly wearing blue! The blue circle is the global symbol of diabetes awareness. It signifies the importance of raising awareness about diabetes, reducing its stigma, and promoting access to diabetes care and treatment for all.

Our dedicated Diabetes Team is here for our clients, providing essential support and information. Keep an eye out for them as they proudly sport blue! Join us in making a positive impact! Together, we can create a healthier future

Diabetes takes work. Let's all spend time learning about the reality of living with diabetes and advocating for a better future for everyone.  Come and talk with our certified diabetes educators (registered nurses and dietitians) for support and education on how to live your healthiest life with diabetes.  Our services are free, available in 10 communities throughout Lanark Leeds and Grenville, and tailored to your needs.  Call our office at 613 284-2558 (Smiths Falls) or 613 498-1555 (Brockville) or click here for more information.
